Minecraft 1.20.1
MineColonies Mod for Minecraft – Ultimate Town Building Experience
MineColonies is an incredible way to enhance and personalize your villages in Minecraft. It lets you establish jobs and a hierarchy within the village, creating a fully functional civilization. To kickstart your colony, you'll need to place either a supply ship or supply camp, both of which grant the Town Hall block, crucial for your colony's development. Remember, you can only place one of these per world, so choose your location wisely as it'll be the foundation of your colony's growth.
The Town Hall block evolves into the Town Center and initiates your first four citizens. The Builder, your primary worker, begins constructing buildings, starting with the Town Center itself.
Workers, including the Builder, may ask for tools and supplies during construction. Keep scavenging for items while the Builder works. Check the Town Hall book for needed items or ask workers directly. Fill the Builder's inventory at the Town Center or directly as required.
The Builder will rope off the building area, showcasing its eventual size, and you'll witness real-time construction provided there are enough materials.
Once the Town Hall is complete, you can expand by erecting structures like mines, farms, bakeries, and sawmills, assigning specific workers to manage each. The Builder constructs a Builder’s Hut initially, allowing him to build and upgrade other structures.
Structures and workers can be upgraded and skill levels improve with work. Manage resources and assign jobs like mining and forestry to gather materials efficiently, ensuring a functioning society.
Prepare for raids by building guard towers, hiring soldiers, and constructing hospitals for the sick or injured. Repair damaged buildings by tasking the Builder as needed.
Housing is essential, so create a Citizen’s Hut for safety.
With time, your village will thrive, citizens working together to provide items, harvest food, and function independently, given a steady supply of tools and materials.
