ChocoCraft Mod for Minecraft – Raise and Ride Adorable Chocobos
The ChocoCraft mod introduces Chocobos from the Final Fantasy series into Minecraft, adding nine unique types, each with its own color and abilities. These creatures can be tamed using Gysahl Greens and can be bred similar to other animals in the game.
Chocobos can be found in mountains, plains, and forest biomes, but certain special types can only be bred into the game. Each type possesses distinct abilities. For instance, white Chocobos are exceptionally fast and capable of traversing water, while gold, pink, or red Chocobos have the ability to fly, climb, and are the swiftest. Additionally, purple Chocobos are exclusive to the Nether or End realms, possessing the ability to fly, cross lava, avoid fall damage, and are generally immune to fire. There are other variations in abilities among the different types.
The mod comes with a useful guide providing advice on raising and training Chocobos, offering essential information to get started and advanced breeding techniques. Furthermore, the Chocopedia is a tool that allows customization, enabling players to rename Chocobos and give them commands like stay, wander, or follow.
To utilize a Chocobo's abilities, players need to tame them using Gysahl Greens, which are readily available. Wild Chocobos can initially only be bred, but after several generations, tamed Chocobos can be bred naturally. For shelter and care, players can build pens where Chocobos can rest and heal.
